Needlepoint Stitching Retreat

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

April 1997

Another scenic part of the Krystal Hotel complex where all of us stitchers were staying.

The whole complex is very charmingly laid out in a garden like setting with lots of brick walks, painted tiles, with characteristic Mexican architecture along with decorative water fountains in all shapes and sizes spouting splashes of water.

Many colorful tropical birds were flitting around unusual flowers and plant life that were typical of a tropical climate.

One thing we had to be aware of were falling coconuts from the very tall coconut palms lining the walkways.

I saw two falling during my stay!
